Self-guided tour

Since 1^st April 2017, the chateau can be visited within a self-guided tour.

Explore a dozen rooms presenting a wide variety of decorative styles : from the XV^th to the XIX^th centuries. Continue in the Grand Reception room remained intact from the Middle Ages ; learn about the reasons that led two French kings in this room and reveal the secret of its door.

Marvel at the unique XV^th century ceiling of the Guard room and try to find out the meaning of its alchemical symbols. Visit the library containing more than 3000 books from the XVI^th to the XIX^th centuries.

Visit the Saint Anne’s Chapel and contemplate its scultures representing religious scenes and saints.

If you want to, you can finish your tour in the attics and the path around the castle.

You are also invited to take a walk in the park along the moat and admire the picturesque vue on the chateau and its facades from different angles.

Practical information :

• Explanatory panels in French will assist you throughout the tour. 

• Tour translation sheets are available in 5 langages : English, German, Spanish, Italian, Russian.

• The duration of the visit may vary depending on your purpose. The entire tour (the interiors and the park) can take about 1h30. 
• The ground floor and the garden are accessible by people with reduced mobility
