Two types of guided tours are offered, and the possibility to have a walk in the garden.
The traditional tour (1h) every open day
During the traditional tour, you will discover eleven entirely furnished rooms, from the XVth to the XIXth century. Including the XVIIIth lounges, the chapel, and the library with its 3000 books. Above all, you will be able to admire the guardroom with its marvelous ceiling of the XVth century painted with alchemy symbols and medieval proverbs.
The medieval tour
During the medieval tour you will discover the most ancient parts of the castle, the running of the double drawbridge and the original framework of the building. And you will meet Jean Bourré, builder of the château, minister of Finance of 3 French kings. And maybe, this passionate alchemist will reveal to you some of the secrets of the esoteric symbols he hid in the dwelling.
